Allseas Global Logistics donates to Turkey and Syria Red Cross Appeal

On Monday 6^th February, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern Turkey near Gaziantep, devastating parts of Turkey and Syria. Just hours later, a second earthquake hit the Elbistan district around 80 miles north of Gaziantep. 

In the days since, huge efforts have been made to help those affected with teams on the ground working around the clock. The Red Cross has issued an urgent appeal for donations to help support their efforts. 

We were incredibly saddened to hear of the destruction this natural disaster has caused and felt strongly that we should do whatever we can to bolster the ongoing rescue and relief efforts across the country. As a business, we have made the decision to donate to the Red Cross fund and encourage others to also do the same if they are able. 

Donations to the fund are helping aid workers support those who have lost everything, providing them with food, shelter, and vital medical care.
